Cameron M. Harris & Co. is an independent insurance brokerage firm founded by experienced insurance executives to serve the middle and upper middle employer markets as well as the high end individual market. This is the second iteration of our company. Cameron M. Harris & Co. was originally founded in 1979 and grew to one of the largest independent agencies in the south with over $27,000,000 of revenue. Cameron M. Harris & Co. was sold to Wachovia in 2002.
The new Cameron M. Harris & Co. began operating in January 2009 and is owned by several insurance executives with over 150 years of combined industry experience. We have brought together a team of professionals rich with experience and the desire to give clients the level of unparalleled service for which the former Cameron M. Harris & Company set the standard. Numerous former clients expressed a longing for the level of service they had experienced in the past and their desires became the catalyst for our new beginning.
